Re: Up with the Larks Saturday

Back from the fair now, it was lovely. I sold a lot of Dolls and only spent £3.00, very restrained for me,lol.
Kate, glad your church fun day went well.
Pamela hope you got some nice pics on your phone.
MrsH, hope you don't catch the cold, you have enough problems at the moment.
Eileen, i didn't know about testing seeds like that, hope yours are viable.
Kazz, hope you enjoy your Indian, we're having an indian take away again tonight.

Re: Up with the Larks Saturday

hello all!! another quiet day here! only 2 more days off then back to work .
mrsH i dont like sour cream much but a lower fat alternative is creme fraich(sp?) and i quite like a dod of that with chilli. u will feel soo much better once its out! i have no probs now apart from occasional heartburn, think that may be to do with the fact the bile has nowhere to be stored so it just drips into the stomach.
not up to much tonight either just watching some tv and letting ratties out!

MrsH, a friend had gall bladder surgery, and could eat a normal diet afterward.

Re: Up with the Larks Saturday

Hi all .... late call from me. Broadband has finally decided to play ball after being on/off and mainly off all day. Had to resort to a DVD this afternoon!

Had some sad news today - my cousin phoned to let me know his dad, my uncle and godfather has died. He was 86. He was my dad's brother and a couple of years younger than dad and the two were very close. In fact both my parents and my uncle and aunt were really best friends, so I've got loads of nice photos of them all having fun - I've been looking at those photos today.

Still working on getting MIL's clothes all laundered and marked up for Monday. She was a bit better today.

It's good to hear what Catseyers have been up to today. Late Sunday cuddles for all Catsey cats from me. Nothing better for getting rid of the blues.

Angie sorry to hear about your Uncle....

MrsH my Mom had her gall bladder out about 25 years ago and has been fine ever since, she said the pain was terrible before they diagnosed it. Opps she has been fine since.

Weird how many things in our body we appear to be able to without if needed,
Appendix, Gallbladder, tonsils, adenoids, spleen................although I am sure all were needed back in the cave man days..........bit like Canine teeth and maybe wisdom teeth.

Re: Up with the Larks Saturday

Angie, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, very sad when we loose relatives that are so close to us.

I'm about to head to bed with a book. A bit of a hedonistic day; nails and hair for me. OH took Sebi for his first ever swimming lesson . . . I had visions of him really kicking off (he was up for it in principle but I thought the reality might be different), but he absolutely LOVED it!!

Liver in a lovely tomato, onion and mushroom sauce with pasta tonight; we had it early so we could eat with the boys and I was hoping to have room for an evening snack of cheese but I'm still stuffed full so the cheese will have to wait!

Tomorrow brings the boys' riding lesson and hopefully some belated allotmenting . . .

Re: Up with the Larks Saturday

Thanks everyone for the reassurance about gallbladder removal.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle Angie, it's such a loss when the figureheads of our childhoods pass away.
