So sorry to hear this Elaine. I've had a few cats who've eaten leftover curry and been fine, so I don't understand this.

Many people have said the same Sammy, it is very difficult to say really but remember this little cat was also brain damaged and so maybe her health and immune was compromised because of this but its all the vet could suggest.
Curry may contain alot of onion or onion powder though which is toxic to cats and can cause irreversible anemia.
