My non-traditional Christmas cake!


Well, here's mine and I am pleased with how it has turned out. The kitchen just spells of that fresh vanilla pod (which will be used in custard for the Christmas pud - which is a bought sort!)


I hope it tastes good - the amount of brandy in it may mean that we don't care too much anyway

Oh that does look very nice! I really enjoy seeing all your Christmas cakes, that's not a tradition here,,,,Christmas cookies, yes!

This week's Food Section in the paper was completely devoted to cookie recipes! My Mom used to make lovely ones.
