I have to admit to not being a laptop fan. I've found they have a very short lifespan and unless you're using an external mouse, the little button-mouse thingie is a pain in the bottom. We've had them for both home and business use and ended up junking them within a year usually . . . and the didn't have a particularly hard life!! But by the sounds of it I'm in the minority so maybe I'm just buying the wrong laptops  |

Funnily enough I was in Woolies at lunchtime and they had what seemed like a pretty good spec laptop for what they said was half price £449. The make was Medion...not sure how good that is though, but if it is a half decent brand than it was a bargain. It also had a fair bit of software with it. |
