Really Hacked Off (not cat-dog)

Hi Guys,
I was getting a 6 year old male in today. The people were nearly an hour late.
Then the 6 year old turned out to be nearly 10!! What could I do or say? They had already been intouch with a "rescue" who wouldnt take him thats why they lied to me.
Now I have a 10 year old boy, who is totally lost! he was with the family all his life. Well when you think about it, a boxers life span, on average is 10. I got the feeling it was a case of out with the old and in with the new!

How very very sad Jac Don't know how anyone could do this. They shouldn't be allowed to have another dog What will happen to him now? Is he fit and well?

Poor old soul. His world has fallen apart. You wonder if they just wouldn't have been more honest just taking him to be pts At least they would then know what happened to him. He's been one of the family for 10 years but they discard him without further thought

I just hope he finds the home he deserves for his twilight years.................

Re: Really Hacked Off (not cat-dog)

I'm with DM on this one I couldn't just "abandon" him even to rescue who do their best - I would have PTS if I found I couldn't for whatever circumstances keep him any longer. But people are selfish aren't they - we loive in a throw away world. A damned shame.
Hope he finds the love he deserves for his final few years.

Karen
