I can't tell you how many collars he has had, everytime we put one on him, he comes back without it, i know he must be going to someone as even when gone for a while he always looks well fed, so i am thinking he's being lured by someone.

Not sure it's worth putting another one on him as it will just get taken off AGAIN!!! Seriously we are talking 8 or 9 collars in a row. The other 2 both have tags and collars and theirs don't "come off"

Maybe i will get 1 i can write a message on, let them know i am on to them

Delighted you've been reunited!!! A truly happy ending!

And yes - I would write a note in the collar advising 'finders' that the cat is actually owned and loved.

However - he could just be one of those cats that lives a double life . . .

Yes he is like the littlest Hobo, which i don't mind as long as he is healthy and happy but at the end of the day he belongs to me and if anything nasty should happen (god forbid) i would like to know i would be contacted should someone find him.

I want to get him chipped but he's never around at the right times!

Will definately try the message thing.
