My Dogs

Remember me posting pics of these 2?

Originally they were called Casper & Jasper, but shortly after we decided to change their names as I felt it didn't suit them, so they were renamed Max & Paddy, yep after the tv programme starring Peter Kay & Patrick McGuiness (I'm a big Peter Kay Fan)

This is Max & Paddy now

Max

Paddy

They are now 5 months old. It turned out that they weren't crossed breeds but in fact pure Border Collies. Max is what they would class as a red & white collie. They are very active, but also very intelligent dogs. They have fitted in really well with our family & get along with all the cats, although Shadow does put them in their places & they know not to mess with him.

Re: My Dogs

Thanks for the update pictures of Max and Paddy - they do look like lovely dogs and certainly have good shiny coats. Bet they keep you and your family active!

Re: My Dogs

They do keep us active Angie, but we do enjoy it & my daughters certainly enjoy taking them out for walks with me. It's good for us to spend that time together as a family plus 2 energetic dogs get to let off some steam & my cats get a little bit of peace & quiet

A lot of people have comented on that & I did orginally think that maybe a springer had paid their part in these 2 being born, but the previous owner of the pups managed to find out who the dad was & it turned out that dad was in fact a collie. Strange though that mum was a black & white collie & so was dad, but out of the litter of 5 pups only Paddy was black & white. Max & another pup were the red & white, there was also a tan & white & the fifth was like a mixture of the red, tan & white colour.

By the way I've no idea what's happening with Paddy's ears. Up until a week they were both sticking out but now one has gone forward lol think they've got a mind of their own!
