Now that is nice! The colour is so warm looking and sets off the fire surround......

You have every reason to feel chuffed too!

Re: My kitchen....so far

I just hope it doesn't take too long to get the rest of the kitchen finished off.

Was wondering whether to do tongue and groove part way up the wall on the right hand side of the kitchen as there is nothing on there apart from the radiator. Paint the lower half cream/oatmeal with a paler shade of terracotta on the top half

Sounds good and it's looking really nice. Keep up the good work. I can imagine you sitting round having your breakfasts, all nice and cosy on a cold winter morning!

Re: My kitchen....so far

The feature wall looks great! My one concern about half-and-half on the other wall is that you could end up with too may colours/textures (oatmeal, light teracotta, dark teracotta) . . . however it's hard to tell from a picture and if it's a largish room you might be able to get away with it.

Maybe try it with paint only first, and if it works then you can apply the tongue and groove over the lower half of the wall?

Re: My kitchen....so far

Change of plan. The rest of the walls are going to be cream or oatmeal, same as the fireplace and the alcoves will be terracotta, same as the feature wall.

It's a big kitchen can't remember the exact measurements tho but I can fit a dinning table and chairs in there with loads of space to spare

Just remeasured my kitchen it's 12ft wide by 18ft long
