Re: Raw pork sausages

Some things we eat other people find weird. I grew up having waffles with chicken gravy (homemade); but everyone I've mentioned this to laughs their heads off, never heard if it!

Re: Raw pork sausages

Raw pork or even pork sausages . . . never I too have been taught that pork is the one meat (together with chicken) that you cook thoroughly. Is it a midlands thing then??? Even in my 2 years at Stourbridge, mixing with many of the locals that lived on my estate, I never came across anyone that loved raw sausage.

Cured sausage is a different thing, but not raw

Now sushi, tuna carpacio or steak tartare . . . yummy

Re: Raw pork sausages

Well, I'm a Southerner and have eaten raw sausage for years with no ill effects!! I'm with kazz, if I do eat meat it has to be well done. I don't eat steak much now, but the thought of a rare one makes me

Me too! When eating out with friends who like to go a local well known steakhouse I always order fish or chicken because they practically refuse to do it well done!!
