Re: Garden Makeover

looking at the photos I would be very tempted to paint the white/grey wall a really vibrant colour, perhaps a blue?? it would then really set off any trellis/plants that grow against it.

Re: Garden Makeover

All my cats have loved it over the years, Emma! I'm on the second stockade fence now; love the privacy for sunbathing. After their walks the cats would sit in the garden with me while I weeded, planted or just read. Sultan is the only one who ever went over the fence: every time he did it I grabbed him, said severely, "If you go out then you have to go in!" and promptly put him in the house. Being the smart cat that he was, he soon learned not to do it..

Edited: Emma, could you see the rose pics?

That's an idea! But it's my neighbors wall, would have to run it by him first....

Re: Garden Makeover

I can see the pictures and maybe instead of painting the wall paint the trellis. If you paint the walls you soon get fed up and anyhow it will be bathed in climbers shortly. How about a false image Eileen you know like a mirror set at an angle so it leads to eye on so to speak....fooling your eye/perspective to look further than is really there here a link sure you can find more http://www.sunset.com/sunset/Premium...rrors0600.html
