A close-up.When I bought the house these recesses were in the fireplace and to me they just cried for something in them so....

They are stunning Eileen. I don't know why, but old tiles are something I find fascinating. the detail in them is immense. I especially like the first one. Thank you for photographing them for me.

No. it's marked"Hand painted in Portugal" on the back. Picked it and the other up years ago at the big Georgetown flea market.
