Re: Had a scare with Sliver

Heres the big words for what Sliver has: Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
Or the enlarging of the heart walls...I have been reading about it & it doesn't look good
I hope she lives as long as she can

I know RCR I am very upset at what i'm reading. I will pray & hope for her to live past what they say *crossing fingers* They say they can live for months or at least a few years depending on the severity. All we can do is hope...

Re: Had a scare with Sliver

That must have given you, and Silver, such a fright. So glad that the vet has managed to give her something to assist. At least she will be loved and happy for however long she is with you.

Lovely pics of her, she is a lovely girl.

Re: Had a scare with Sliver

A friends cat was diagnosed with that also; she was rather young too, like Sliver. I believe she lived for several years after it was discovered. I'll see if I can reach her and ask. Anyhow, fingers crossed that Sliver will have much more time with you; she couldn't have a more caring and loving home. And you know her Catsey aunties care too and are sending good vibes, HK. (((hugs)))
