Merlins.eye...

His eye was closed slightly yesyerday, so bathed it with warm water, this morning is very mucky and the side of his face is swollen, bathed it again and he could open it...
Either its an absess under a tooth, a bite from something, or he has had a swipe from another cat....
Taking to the vets first thing in the morning...It does not seem to be bothering him at all...........

That was my first thought Mags, the swelling is over one side of his face, the eye does not seem to be damaged at all...But its definitely an infection..Hopfully the vet can tell me what from...

Poor little love. For his own good he'll need to stay indoors though I suppose. I hope the vet can ease the swelling . . .

Poor darling - that's got to hurt. Hope he stays indoors and is a good boy.

Re: Merlins.eye...

He is very sore, meowing if you touch it...He went out yesterday and stayed out all day which is not like him, so must be feeling poorly, he is quite happy sleeping inside today...Got the vets at 6pm....
