A line up of suspects

OK Catsey, I need to solve a crime and want your opinions.

The crime:
Wanton killing of 2 rabbits, evidence deposited on the back doorstep for maximum impact

The line up of suspects

1: Cleo AKA The Shadow

At first she seems the least likely as she gives the impression of being a 'scaredy' indoor cat but is she the shadowy boss of a crime syndicate?

2: Smudge AKA Her Majesty

Has previous convictions for similar crimes. A 'cute fluffy' exterior hiding a will of iron and homicidal tendencies?

3: Tolly AKA The Boy

A slightly gawky teenager but is he growing into a lean, mean killing machine?

Who do you think may be the guilty party?

Any other evidence CS? Blood spatter? Finger, sorry, paw prints ............... is someone trying to fit someone else up?

Of course, it was just a present for the staff and very thoughtful - those bunnies would have been at you veggies if left to their own devices.

Don't think any of them did it, the rabbits just fainted at the sight of the cats and as they were elderly rabbits, the fright sent them into cardiac arrest, which they didn't recover from.

I think they were stitched up by a neighbouring cat who did it and ran away! They all look like butter wouldn't melt. All definitely worthy of an award I think

Good idea Pauline .............. which are you going to nominate for a Hoomey, CS? Of course, you could nominate them all - we don't have anything going forward to a poll yet.

Hmm, the evidence was washed away by rain. Those bunnies are hopefully kept away from the veggies by the same barricades that keep the cats from using my raised beds as litter trays!

Sadly they were baby rabbits.......

Hmm, neighbouring cats are chased off very quickly!

Smudge has been caught red handed before now but Tolly and Cleo both have 'previous' albeit with different animals.....
I tried threatening to withhold 'Dreamies' until I got a confession but couldn't cope with the plaintive looks!

Re: A line up of suspects

You've chosen the "good cop" route then to try for a confession? I can see why
