Re: Bank Very very angry

Well I went in, asked to see the manager... he was busy.. Ok I'll wait. Can I help you madam, Yes dont call me madam again. Supervisor came over "is there a problem" Yes you stole £30 from my bank account . It's one of thoes open plan ones so everyone could hear me. Oh I'm sorry we dont steal money from peoples accounts do you want to go into an office, me no not now we'll do it here.
I explained how my money had to wait 3 days to clear. It's standard policy when putting cash in with cheques!!!!! Well I let rip.
£30 charge back in my account, an appology and one very red faced young supervisor.

So if anyone else is with Lloyds TSB be very carefull and dont put cash in with cheques although they are ment to tell you at the time.

Re: Bank Very very angry

We used to be with TSB & liked them until they merged & one day when I had a statement & went through it (as I used to each month) & I found there was £20 taken via DD from my account for a company I'd never heard of. I asked what it was for & they said "it's probably fuel or something"
I said it wasn't fuel & it was an error as I had checked everything & that £20 was an error.

They said I could log a complaint & have an investigation which would cost me (?) {can't remember how much} & if I was right I'd get it back, if I was wrong I wouldn't!

I was so sure it was a bank error I asked for it to be investigated. About a month later into my account sneaked the lost £20! No letter, no phonecall, no apology! I asked for an answer & was told it was an error & I was right!

We left them & joined HSBC immediately. all our accounts were moved & when our fixed term on the mortgage rates was up we moved our mortgage too.So that little lack of customer service cost them big time through loosing our mortgage with them!
