Re: Back to work tomorrow!

Yes, they seem to fly by don't they Abs It's been pretty miserable weather here so we haven't done a lot this weekend.

I bought some mini plants in pots yesterday so that I can start bringing them on for my hanging baskets and I've been repotting those today. Really looking forward to some warmer weather though!

Re: Back to work tomorrow!

The weather here is very cold. I love doing hanging baskets I made my own last year for the first time, with the help of Nicki - but they turned out really nicely.

She grows her own plants from seeds, might have a go myself this year!

Roll on garden weather - at easter I am going to pain all the sheds and fences, get it ready for the sunmmer.

Can't wait till I can cut the grass so that it looks nice and short again!

Re: Back to work tomorrow!

It really is nice when you can get outside and do things in the garden!

I've grown most of my plants from seed for the past few years, it is so much cheaper. The ones I bought yesterday were trailing ones and only 50p a plant - when they are 'planting out' size they usually cost £1 - £2 each.

We also bought some preserver/paint ready to paint the wooden tubs, wishing well etc so I can't wait for Easter either!!
