Tiggles....Update...

Is settling in well, his only stumbling block is the dogs...think he must have been chased a few times, everything in the house scares him to begin with, so he has obviously been living outside all his life....He goes out during the day, and sleeps in the livingroom at night....
He is a bit of a Jeckyl & Hyde, can be purring, cuddle into you, then he turns and scratches and bites...I tend to think he has been hurt by someone, and also has never lerned manners, he also has a little hard lump on his tum, feels like bone, maybe been kicked by someone
He just needs to learn to trust, will take time, but sure we will get there in the end...

Glad he's beginning to settle Moli. He is much luckier than Harley - I still feel guilty about giving up on him, but Kizzy and Pip's happiness is more important to me.

Re: Tiggles....Update...

I guess it'll take some time for him to become completely secure at being an indoor cat, especially if the dogs intimidate him. Hopefully, time, patience and love will win out......

He sounds as if he'll get there. Sometimes you wish you knew their history so you knew how to reassure them.

I think we are due more pics of him?

Re: Tiggles....Update...

Its excellent that you are trying with him however - it may be that he never really settles as you would like but I am sure it will work out. Once a cat is dog defensive I think its a hard thing to convince them "some dogs are fine" Best of luck.
