I am relieved its all over, she took herself off to my daughters wardrobe, meowing like a banshee, i had a feeling something wasnt right as she refused to come out so, i wrapped her in a blanket and took her to the "delivery room" which i had only just prepared that morning, within 10 mins the first one arrived, we thought she had finished after number 4 but she snuck another one in when we wasnt looking!!

She has taken to motherhood beautifully but is also happy for us to handle them too.

Today she is starting to get itchy feet and i think is missing the company of the other cats, do i let her go out or should i keep her in?

I kept mine in permenantly until kittens weaned. I would certainly keep her in for a week.

They do look wonderful healthy kitties Jules and mum looks so contented! I love that last picture - that little one looks as if he/she is going to take a big bite out of brother or sister, but perhaps it's only a yawn!

They really are doing very well, i think that last one was a hiss, they are just learning how to do that
