Re: Leia agrees with Kizzy

How's Leia been today, Eileen? Kizzy has been out and about quite a lot today, so I think she must either be getting used to it or it has been, here at least, not as humid as it was yesterday.

Re: Leia agrees with Kizzy

Leia's been her usual self today; not very active, but she has never been an active cat even when she was younger....alhough she did have a "mad moment" this morning running thru the house as if her tail was on fire. But that was the exercise for the day!

Re: Leia agrees with Kizzy

Leia certainly does look like she is trying her best to chill out there
Both Maxi and Maisy were flaked out today it was really hunid hear, in fact Maisy found a good way to cool down today , when I go to the loo she likes to follow me and insists that I run some cold water into the bath for her to play in and have a drink, while I put some cloths away I left her in the bath, when I went back in she was just lay in the water flat on her side soaking wet through , she looked nice and cool though and protested when I went to lift her out.

Wow, that's amazing! All of mine hated water; I wonder if that might be a Maine Coon thing, like Bengals and water?

Yes I think Maine Coons are quite playful with water, I am going to have my camera on standby in the bathroom incase she does it again with all this warm weather.
She did look so sweet lay there blinking at me

That's amazing Leesy - clever Maisy! Did she take much drying ...... I don't suppose you wanted her dripping all around your home?

Re: Leia agrees with Kizzy

LOL she is always walking around the house wet if not drippng as she is always wanting to play in the bath with the water, there is always sloppy wet paw prints on the carpets, even when they have a drink out of the water fountain the floor needs drying out.
Maxi dosen`t jump in the bath as often as Maisy though.
I just left her wet as I thought she would stay cooler longer, but no it didn`t really take her to long to dry out
