Re: Vet Costs

lynz, I don't know; the dollar is down. Don't know what it translates into pounds. I have to pay my $100.00 deductible then submit a claim for the rest.

Re: Vet Costs

Yikes! Glad you can claim some back Eileen.

367.82 US Dollars = 225.77 British Pounds (today's rate)

Are you worried by Leia's weight loss?

Re: Vet Costs

Yes! First of all, I didn't notice it;when you see them every day it's not noticeable; and even Carolyn didn't see it. But she's gone from 14 pounds in '08 to 11 now. Hyperthyroidism is the first thing that comes to mind .......

Re: Vet Costs

3lbs in 3 years doesn't sound a lot, but I guess Leia is getting on ..... good idea to have it checked out. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry too much, bless her.

Re: Vet Costs

She's middle aged now, I say she's 13, but the vet is very particular and noted on the report that she is 12 years and 5 months! Picky, picky! To me, when you've completed your 12th year and are starting a new one, you're 13!
