Hot Air Balloons


Not so many took flight this year due to the bad weather, here are a few my son took last Friday evening before the rain came again........

Lovely photos Mags well done to your son!
I heard about the show on breakfast telly yesterday; it's the largest in Europe I think! They look spectacular but I wouldn't get in one, I'm afraid of heights

That's a shame Anne, I was hoping you may have got a few pics as well..

The ones above were taken from our back garden but there were quite a few more balloons which went in another direction as the wind belew up..

What a shame - a mass (flotilla??) of hot air balloons is something I always find lifts my spirits. Drat the horrid weather.

We've just had the most fantastic Red Arrows display, pity it was raining as the pictures are rubbish but the suns shining now so will keep my eye out for some balloons going up.

Anne, I heard the Red Arrows go over but couldn't see them at all.....probably cos we had a blanket of cloud over our area
