My cheeky cat

This is a bit sad, but a memory I will always keep.

but I have found out my, very spoilt, bengal had been so cheeky and half living over the road as well as with us.

She died and I found out that she had been living over the road with a couple and their small dog. We have dogs too so she was really comfortable around dogs. The lady was really upset and we found out at the same time. (about her death) She realized she had a family but she had been feeding her too, for years. I just can't believe that my cheeky cat had "another family" that was giving her chicken and salmon, no wonder she stayed with them too. She was fed twice a day with me and then over the road too.

It's really weird meeting a "friend" of my late cat, I wish I had met her whilst my cat had been alive. I have been over for a drink with the lady and it's obvious how much time my cat spent with her too.

Just thought I'd share my story.

mogs.

Hi Mogs - welcome to Catsey. Thanks for sharing that touching little story with us. Glad that you and your cat's other friend have met - you both have a lot to share. Sorry to hear that you cat has passed on.

Perhaps you could tell us some more about her?

Oh, that is a sad story! Your girl had the best of both worlds, didn't she: two families to love her, two restaurants to dine at....and neither of you knew of the other...I'm so sorry she's gone to the Bridge. Perhaps you could post some pics of her and some other stories....

Welcome to Catsey, by the way!

Hi, welcome and thanks for sharing your lovely story with us. Don't mean to be too nosey but what was your bengal's name?

It's a shame you and your neighbours didn't know each other when your cat was kitchen-hopping but it's nice that you have the memories of your cat to share with others who also knew her well.
