She's in a crate in our bedroom! It's immediately we put her in the crate so we can go to bed, that's when she's worst. She's been out and done what she needs to, we put her in her crate with a couple of bics and Monty in his crate ditto. He crunches up his bics and goes off to sleep and doesn't stir until next morning. She howls either for a bit of a time or longer (like last night). She does wake and call when she needs to go out during the night and OH takes her. She always needs to go out. She gets carried out with no fuss and bought back the same way. As I understand it, we are doing all we can ...... we have had some quiet nights and also some nights without having to take her out. No difference in when she eats or what time she goes to bed.

Yes, I like bold - but wouldn't mind a bit of obedience thrown in -

Oh beyond me in my house the dog sleeps in the kitchen and stays there quiet. No crates here.
