annoyed

Ive just got to have a little rant. A friend who we gave a realy good settee too which was nearly new has just chopped it up and left it on his front lawn because someone is given him another one like ours wasnt good enough we will never give this person anything again. It wouldnt have been so bad if he had donated it somewhere for all the people that have lost furniture.

Re: annoyed

What a shame, after your generosity!~ I don't blame you one bit for being annoyed! At least he could have put it on the lawn with a "free" sign if he didn't want it any more! That's what people do here if they don't donate it to charity....

Re: annoyed

I think that's awful Jane he could at least have asked you if you would like it back as it didn't quite fit his room or whatever..

Some people are so ungrateful and don't care if they hurt other people's feelings. At least you know who to avoid if you have any more items to give away...

Re: annoyed

That's horrible - why didn't he ask you if you knew someone who could make better use of it or something?! I'm sure you'd be much less offended by that, right? Eughhh, people annoy me. I would be letting them know they wont be getting anything in the future!

Re: annoyed

I'd be very upset about this. There are so many people at the minute that have had furniture ruined by flood damage, many of them unisured too, that would have been really grateful for it

Re: annoyed

That's dreadful Jane! I absolutely hate waste of any kind and that was just malicious, especially as Fran says, there are so many people in desperate need at the moment!

Some people are so ungrateful and selfish. I'd be spitting feathers too.

Re: annoyed

Well that's 2 fingers up to you and 2 fingers up to all those that really need furniture at the moment. What a shocking and thoughtless thing to do. I'd be very angry too.
