Beige

On Friday 25 May 2012 I lost my best pal Beige after a terrible few days.

I have set up a memorial web site for him.

Re: Beige

What a lovely tribute to a very well-loved cat. How lucky he was to have found you to love and care for him. He does sound like a very gentle gentlecat.

RIP Beige x

Re: Beige

Very sad story there Peter - thank you for posting it, Beige sounded like the most precious cat; often the strays/rescues are the most affectionate.

I love that your other cats were Kitek and Kitka . . . is your partner Polish by any chance? My Mum's first stray was called Kotek!

You obviously are both cat people - once the pain of loosing Beige subsides a little it would be great if you felt you could join our little cat community here - we chat about most stuff; much of it cat-related unsurprisingly! You knowledge of cats and your obvious dedication to finding the best solutions possible would be most welcome.

Re: Beige

What a beautiful and very special boy Beige was Peter, what a beautifully worded tribute...and it's heart-wamingly obvious from reading this that he was lucky enough to have found the loves of his life in both you and your partner. Keep that in your heart, you quite clearly gave your darling boy a very happy and fulfilled life, he was loved and loved in return, what more could he have wanted.

Still, I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling to have had to say goodbye to such a prominent, affectionate, and much loved dear little soul, and clearly and quite rightly so a member of the family. (I love the 'favourite cat food' composition on the kitchen wall tho'! It did make me smile amongst the sadness)..

Please feel free to use Catsey to sound off, you'll find support here, and it helps to talk at such difficult times like these, and.. many of us have gone through the heartache of losing a very special cat(s) too.

Thinking of you at this very sad time Peter, and such a sensitive tribute, thanks for sharing it with us.
xx
