I think that a UK billion is a million million whereas a USA one is a thousand million. I still don't know how many 0000s though. I'll guess 12 for the UK version and 11 for the USA.

my uncle has a photo of him and hos wife taken a few years ago on their 50th wedding anniversary. Sadly my aunt died a yr and a half ago at the age of 76. they had been together from being teenagers

yes, i think it's discalcula. I know exactly what you mean about not being able to read large numbers. I realy struggle with mathamatical concepts and am unable to do realy simple maths, it's as if the numbers fly out of my head.
