Gor for it Kazz, you know you want to.
CPL in my area is pretty bad too at saying they NEED volunteers but never take you up on anything. I have lost count the amount of times I have offered to help and all they want is for me to work in their charity shop.
Theres no C.A.T near Telford.
nearest is Bewdley.

Re: And then there were 3...........

Surely CP offer TNR???? I know our branch does (resources permitting). I guess that's it though - only if they have the staff/vets to carry it out

Good luck Alex; I hope something works out for Stripe and for the kittens. Kazz - you're a gem, CP Stourbridge will be lucky enough to benefit from your knowledge and love for cats

Re: And then there were 3...........

I got a call from the CPL this afternoon! I explained everything to the very nice lady who called and she said that they wouldn't have a trap available until the end of next week, but if I catch them in the meantime I've to give her a call and she'll collect them. They will blood test them and if clear and thinks they could be tamed then will keep them for rehoming, if unable to be tamed will be neutered and re-released and if blood tests aren't good then pts! But at least something is happening for them now, and hopefully will have a good outcome.

I would dearly love to think so Moli, it would make my Christmas, but it would be unlikely they would be rehomed so quickly, but at least they would have the prospect of it for the new year.

Re: And then there were 3...........

Do you think cats are psychic? Since that lady called I haven't had the kittens at my back door!!! I saw Stripe up at he back of the garden but she wouldn't come to me and there was no sign of the little ones. I swear they are doing it on purpose.
