It's really hard when you want a show cat. So many things have to be taken into account. Hard as it is I try not to get to set on one kitten. The right one will always get to you somehow. Fingers crossed Fran.

Thanks Kay....I know it is a waiting game. I would rather wait for the right kitten than rush in as it were. The temperament is very important to me too not just how it will look on the show bench

A good temperament is essential for a show cat with all the handling they get from different judges and their stewards. They can now get disqualified, repoRted to the GCCF and possible being banned from being shown for biting or scratching. You could have the most near perfect show cat but it is no good if it's temperament isn't up to being shown. Don't rush in because although you will always love the cat it is upsetting if you aren't able to show her. Fingers crossed.
