Re: Merlin is poorly...

He spent the night waking me up, plonking on me with his claws out, batting me on the nose, basically being a pain in the ***!!!Then finally at 7am, I gave up and got up, he then decided to settle down and go to sleep on my bed!!

No - he was only checking you were asleep!! and was so exhausted by being kept awake most of the night with that task he had no option but to fall asleep once he knew you were up and about.

Re: Merlin is poorly...

Isn't it funny? I've had four cats who used to sleep with me and OH on occasions - mostly Merlin and now Pip. Neither of them have ever tried to bat us while we slept. Pip jumps about sometimes in the morning and sometimes I've felt a whiskery face on my hand, but that's it. Obviously I have much more considerate cats ........................

As a kitten Merlin was a pain, one night he was chucked out of my room, then my sons room, never settled down, now he sleeps with his brothers in the utilityroom, and we all get peace.....
