Thanx everyone, I can't tell you how happy I am to have her back!

I also can't express how mad I am at the 'autorities' for their lack of help in the situation.

I think to some people they are 'just pets', but I think most of us here hold them in a much deeper place in our hearts. Last year these same neighbours had a tabby kitten. They got it at 7 weeks old and by 8 weeks old they let it outside on it's own all day!

It 'went missing' about a week later. I think someone must have took it in and I sincerely hope they did in this matter. My father always says I over react but i'd certainly never leave an 8 week old kitten out to fend for itself!

Too right Kel! I think they've got a bit of a misguided idea about pet ownership. I think when the dust has settled some anonymous leaflets on responsible pet care through the letter box are in order
