Re: Do I Or Dont I?????????

Been discussing this with the kids for ages. The other kitten is now a definate no.

Emma wont make a decision about Wiggy's brother because "she cant"

Sean is worried with three cats his asthma will get worse.

They do have a thick dense coat Donna, it is something to consider, I understand he might be concerned and may have reason to, Asthma is not nice. Kids eh!

Donna - you have to do what is right for you and your family. You all have to be 100% commited to having another cat whatever the breed/colour etc...

Have just joined this thread.....had hopes of seeing another Wiggy one minute...then they were dashed the next
Seriously though Donna you have to consider Sean's health first.
Must admit the pic you posted is so cute!

Re: Do I Or Dont I?????????

DECISION MADE........

We have made the decision not to get another cat at this moment.

I do love the idea of a Wiggycat. But the time is not right. I have two lovely girl kitties who are fit and healthy and very content. I dont want to ruin that for them. I should be happy with that.

I also am concerned about Sean's asthma and I do know that my ex is constantly slagging me to the kids about having cats with their asthma. At the moment the cats only affect Sean and it is manageable. A third cat might push his health too far.

There is plenty of time for me to get a Wiggycat. Maybe when the kids are older or even left home (14 and 12 this year). Also if all my cats are the same age I do not want to lose them all at a similar time . If I wait a few years when maybe Misty and Chloe are five-ten then I will hopefully have cats for many more years.

I am sorry to you Dawn for messing you about, I did not call the lady as I wanted to talk to the kids. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I will however keep the lady's website in my favourites so that I can sneak a look from time to time.

All this, on the understanding I get at least a weekly fix of a Wiggy picture if you can manage that Dawn!!!

Donna I think you have made a very sensible decision......as you say there will be time to get another kitty later on....

Thanks Mags. Feel a bit sad, but I have a few years left in me yet hopefully and when I am more financially stable and the kids and kitties are older, then maybe it will all fall into place. I should be grateful for what I have....

Sounds like the right decision Donna, it is so easy to look at a kitten and want it!
