Re: Salt update

Is this the same vet that wanted you to wait till Wednesday? What tests have they done: blood work, urinalysis, scan? And they have no idea what's wrong with an obviously ill cat?? Forgive me for speaking frankly, but if it were me, I'd get a second opinion ASAP!!! Poor Salt! Hang in there....

Re: Salt update

Naomi have a look at this site there is a section for find a vet http://www.rcvs.org.uk/

and if you look there is a vets that is minutes from you that only take Secondary Referrals and specialise in Cardiology, Ophthalmology so may well be worth asking your vets to refer you to there as they belive Salts problem is the heart murmur???? Maybe you'll get some answers there. But before you ask them will you find out
If they have done blood tests and what the results were and what tests for?
Why they have given Salt antibiotics for what?
Have they checked her claws has she been run over?

Maybe though being referred is the answer.
Karen
