I bet Moli!! Especially if you are used to peace and quiet. My ex could snore for Scotland. Even now that noise makes me cringe and my blood curdle.

He says his 'face' feels very clear - like he's sniffed menthol or sucked a tune.

Re: Snoring for Sufferers

It must have been about 8 years ago he actually got as far as seeing an ENT specialist who offered to put him on the waiting list for some sort of surgery - 'trimming' the palate etc . Potential side effects............well, it will bleed and be uncomfortable at first, you'll be in hospital 3 nights and if you're unlucky there may be a degree of reflux - drink a beer through your mouth/some comes down your nose And the surgery may not work at all!

The 3 nights in hospital put me off for a start - people are in and out in a day for a hernis and little more than a week for joint replacement. Sounded pretty major to me. And reflux - mmm, mmm.

So, he got the 'mandibular advancement device' (gumshield thing) from the dentist (£250+) and Breathe Right stickies.

To think this little thing works so well and so unobtrusively. Well done the Aussies!
