I was given just 1 Panacur tablet PK!!! The vet said it is fairly new.....it is soft and crumbly and supposed to have a nice flavour (though I won't be testing to see if it's true!). I have to phone the vet back in about 3 months (after she's taken it) to give a report on it .....I think Cassie is being used as a guinea pig!!
What a cheek, using Cassie as a guniea pig...Did you ask you first?

Re: nite all....

There seems to be no way I can open Cassie's mouth without her spitting and biting so it will have to be something I can put in her food. I don't know why she is like this as she is usual very placid.....just doesn't like you putting anything in her mouth

Re: nite all....

Some cats are just impossible to get tabs down their throats..When my Sam had to have antibiotics, he had to have injections every two days, just could take tablets...Mind you I don't think I would like someone forcing my mouth open and shoving a pill down my throat!!

Apparently all the others that are mixed in with their food tastes awful and the cats leave most of it. With this one, because it is supposed to taste 'nice' they eat everything and therefore the tablet does its job properly...

I used to have one cat, Gizmo who I have spoken about with the kidney failure. He was so bad when the vets needed to look in his mouth that when they seriously needed to look in his mouth he had to go under anaesthetic He was really that bad with his mouth but I still managed to worm him every 3 months and I have never been able to put it in my cats' feed as I have always had several cats. Each has to have their own tablet or liquid so that I know they have all def had what they need....

I buy Panacur liquid in bulk as it works out a lot cheaper Mags. All my pets can have it, dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. It is tasteless and odourless and the dogs eat it in their feed. I use a syringe for the cats, kittens and pups....Yes I get it from Canine Chemist

Re: nite all....

You don't have to order online. You can phone or fax an order through and they don't charge delivery for wormers
