Re: Snowy Monday

Just popping back on to say it's been snowing steadily here almost all day, and it's now even starting to lie! My OH has taken the day off and I spoke to him a bit earlier, he said Minsky keeps runing at the window making little "mra-a-a-a-a-row" noises and trying to catch the flakes through the glass A novelty for everyone in Glasgow it seems!

That's the situation here in Washington, MrsH. We get a lot of flack about closing schools when the snow is light in the City, but most teachers live in the suburbs because they cannot afford the prices close in.

Yep, unbelievable, but has been a year. The groundhog did see his shadow this morning, so six more weeks of Winter, aaaargh! It's sunny and 8 degrees now, made 16 (yes, not a typo!) yesterday!). and a 50% chance of snow tomorrow....

Re: Snowy Monday

We have lots of snow here and still snowing heavily. I work in a High School and went into work onlyto be sent home again! Extra nice as it is my Birthday today - so an added bonus!

Re: Snowy Monday

Happy Birthday, Kim! Your weather made the morning news, said all the buses in London stopped running because of it...is that true? Sounds perfectly horrible if you're not a snow lover, hope all stay safe and warm! Those were great pics, Angie, stay inside where it's cozy by the fire. Yola, cannot wait for pics of Mysh in the snow...if he'll even venture out in it!

Nothing happening here: sunny, 8 degrees, did a double market run in case the snow does come here tomorrow. The Zuppa di Pesce (Italian fish stew) a roaring success! Will post in recipe sticky, definitely a keeper recipe...lovely broth!

Hope it melts soon....take care, all!
