DM - What's miso soup? I'm curious
Delicious Japanese soup; here's a link. Traditionally made with tofu and scallions; I like to make it with shiitake mushrooms, scallions and somen noodles. The recipe calls for miso paste; have never seen that here, I buy the packets of dried miso powder, two teaspoons to an eight ounce cup of water. Dashi is hard to find here, I order mine on line; a little bit goes a long way. Cooks in no time, lovely on a chilly day at lunch!

Thanks for the link. That sound delicious and I adore spicy soups. Might have to give that a whirl. Bet it goes down even better with a gin

Re: Daily/Tuesday...

No snow here today, but freezing. Had to scrape the car this morning. So glad we have the open coal fire it makes it nice and cosy.

Night in - OH making surprise for evening meal.

Dogs walked and cats fed.
