Re: Porsha - 4 weeks old

Thank you all, she is a real cutie. It's seems she could turn out to be chocolate tortie point rather than caramel tortie point. She has really darkened this last few days...will have to wait and see but I adore her no matter what colour she is

She will be..IS... a stunner, no matter what colour.
Maybe you should knit her ear-warmers, if you want her to stay a caramel?

The breeder wants to give her another couple of weeks before she registers her and decides on a colour. The colour can always be changed on her papers later if necessary but yes by the time I get her her colour should be very apparant..

Ah I see, its just that Wiggy is registered cream, but the breeder said, if he doesnt pale, he will be a cream tabby, they are different breed numbers, but I havent changed it, I dont think it matters on a pet though.
dawn.

It doesn't really matter if they are not being shown. If the judges feel she is not the colour she is registered as then the breeder can re-register her as another colour. I think this happens quite often with red points that judges decide are apricot and vice-versa. Colours can alter as they get older but I really think another couple of weeks and we will definitely know what colour she is..
