Re: Bare Escentuals - make up

Well a mini update. One pot of my foundation turned up so I thought I would give it a go, my skin is quite fair so I went for the "fair" but I really need the very fair shade (so I have ordered that

It turned up in a little shaker pot and there is enough for a couple of weeks I would have thought (I only purchased a sample pot), so just shake a little into the lid and apply in a circular motion with a brush (after tapping off excess).

I have one word to say about it so far.....

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very impressed although slightly too dark for my skin tone (I need a pink based colour rather than yellow), but it is very natural, light and looks very "polished"

Even though I have no undereye coverup (I have very dark circles under my eyes) it covered them very well!!

I will post up before and after photos at the weekend when I will hopefully have the lighter foundation, coverup and eye colours

Re: Bare Escentuals - make up

Emma - it does indeed sound a good product . . . I use Este Lauder at the mo but am finding the finish is a little 'barbie' for my liking. I think I might like to give Bare Escensuals a go . . . I have olive skin and find a lot of the make up too 'pink and brown' rather than the yellow and green base tones I have (sounds disgusting but it's not ACTUALLY yellow and green )

Can you get these products in the department stores? I refuse to use those shopping channels theyr'e so darned cheesy
