Re: A long night with Spice.

That's sad news indeed. However, I'm sure you'll make Spice's last days/weeks with you as happy and comfortable as possible . . . who knows, maybe she'll surprise everyone by rallying round and having another go.

Whatever the outcome, all the best from here.

Re: A long night with Spice.

Spice's results are very bad. The vet is coming on Friday to put her to sleep, assuming she doesn't deteriorate any quicker. She has pain killers to see her through and the vet has no concerns about waiting until then.
Spice was diagnosed with CRF over a year ago, and this was on top of high blood pressure and hyperthyroidism, so she has done well, and she is nearly 19.
Thanks.

Thinking about you farthing. Just wishing Spice could pass gently in her sleep like next-door's Joe.

Re: A long night with Spice.

Spice went peacefully about an hour ago, on our bed. Its been a long few days, but at least we had time to say goodbye. I will miss her pathetic little meow and her taking over most of my pillow at night.

Thank you for your support and kind thoughts.
