The new laptop that I got for Christmas is in this category I think but I know no technical information about it!!! It's called Eee PC and it's 1000H model. It's got a 10 inch screen and the battery lasts over 6 hours. Santa bought it on reccommendation from son who knows about these things and has one from work. So far, so good, but don't ask me any tech questions!! |

BM, all I want to do with it is e-mail, Google and Catsey! I have the Mac for other stuff, not that I do music or DVDs on it either.. Actually I only want one so I can be out on the porch or in the garden during the nice weather rather than indoors. I''d thought about the Apple laptop, but it's really too pricy for an indulgence, plus has too many features I neither want nor need. The netbooks are simpler and cheaper; think they might be a bit more user friendly also, with less features. And the icing on the cake is that you can get then with Linux; would never have Windows! |
