They do it to worry you I am sure they do Erin, don't worry too much he's young, healthy and loved he'll be fine once the antibiotics kick in.

When you get up he'll be feeling much better they recover so fast.

ok hes eaten his food then just flopped again on the floor,at least hes eaten though.
ive got to go to work again tonight,my little sister is on jerry duty tonight,hes lay on the floor meowing at me now bless him,he wont move to come up on the bed though.

I have to watch him now and if hes,sick or has any diarrhoea (sp) take him back to the vets,really hope he manages to keep it down bless him.This is all new to me,he's the first cat ive ever had so i havnt really got a clue,im just trusting my instincts at the moment mags and they proved me right this morning,i just hope my sis watches him closely tonight.

Erin - sorry to be reading that Jerry's so unwell. I would say err on the side of caution. Even if you think you might be over-reacting, if your gut instinct says to get him back down the vet then do so.

However, I hope the food intake is a positive step and that his medication starts to work pronto.

Its good to hear he has eaten something Erin... the meds must be working but he may take a day or 2 to get back to his old self.... if you dont think he is getting better then do take him back to the vet... it does sound like he is on the mend though xxxxxx
