Re: So You Think You Want To Breed? (article)

Well done to you both ~ I hope your efforts get the publicity they deserve. There are far too many unwanted cats in rescues & far too many people who get a cute kitten then lose interest as it grows up. There's no excuse in this day & age for failing to neuter.

Well done Elaine and RCR - as has been said, if it makes one person get their cat spayed or neutered it will be worth it.

Better for the individual animal, better for everyone.

Re: So You Think You Want To Breed? (article)

Very well done both of you! Excellent points made and very convincing. I agree with Dawn to a degree. We certainly don't get many "I'm thinking of breeding my queen" posts, usually its too late.

BUT....

We do get a good number of "I just got my first kitten/cat" type posts and those people could greatly benefit from reading this article. It is my belief that more kittens are born out of ignorance and accident than "planning" Moggie litters anyway. I think this article will serve a great purpose! Well done to you both!
