Re: Flake Friday

Me too! I've had nothing but trouble with my teeth from the very first - had my first asthma attack when I cut my first tooth at 5 months, or so I was told. Been a pain in one way or another ever since.

Re: Flake Friday

Evening all had a bit of a nap and now as you can see from the post I am awake now. Hope to sleep tonight and make something of the weekend.
Not sure why you think its a lot???? I just think normal day>

Sorry you are feeling a little under the weather PP.

Angie never had the inkling to make bread lots of people I know do but never appealed to me.
Shelley sounds like a freestyle holiday plan, enjoy.

Re: Flake Friday

Unlike MrsH, I can't say that my hands are too sore to knead the bread, but I still use the breadmaker. IMO it is far superior to that bought in the shop - it tastes differently, makes the most divine toast and of course has no preservatives or additives in it. Doesn't last as long but doesn't really need to. I have found that although I might have a digestive problem with shop bought bread - and at one point I wondered if it was gluten - I have no such reaction to home made, so I presume it has something to do with the additives.

I agree that home baked is better; but I've gotten terribly spoiled since Whole Foods opened in the neighborhood; their breads are artisan and have no additives and preservatives ........
