That must be so hard for your OH. It's very sad to lose your parents young, but it must be much worse to see them deteriorate mentally to the point that they're no longer the person you knew .....

Yes, in that respect I am lucky Kazz. I don't have the emotional tie that my OH has. Both my parents died in the '90s.
