Have to agree - I'm not a great one for crowds of people all going round aimlessly. Tend to get even more impatient than usual.

Sister has been and said there are good deals to be found.

Anyone else braved them?

well you may end up grumpy - but with a great bargain.

We're going to take the dogs to the beach for a walk after lunch - less people!!!

I have taken the dog out already...just wish I lived near a beach - land locked B'ham is not known for its beaches.

However may venture out and about and see whats going on getting cabin fever now.

Lovely day here but cold.

Re: Anything good in the sales

so far ive bought a pair of jeans from dorothy perkins tall range. £14-00 and they are lovely n long so i can wear my boots with them a nice t-shirt from asdas, £5-00 will go well with the jeans. but my all time buy which im sooooo pleased about is. just before christmas i saw a lovely mole skin skirt (not real moles lol) but it was only £16-00 but i didnt really have the money. so walked away. and guess what saw MY skirt for £5-00 i was over the moon. it fits perfectly as well
so yes ive enjoyed the sales so far. im going back to the Next sale on monday. now bearing in mind all them crazy women just grabbing stuff. and when they get it home tr it on either too big or small and bring it back, then i can buy something.

Re: Anything good in the sales

Ok, sales, went to Whittards of Chelsea and bought 4 new cat mugs for £10.
Got 2 pairs of boots, a black pair with heals and buckles and a flat pair of fake timberlands, £20 for the two pairs.
Got 2 new pairs of jeans, coz all my others are falling off me with all the walking, a pair to wear with heals and a pair to wear with flatties, £25.
Bought a top in Debenhams, I foolishly picked up the catcti's B&Q gift card instead of the Debenhams one. The top wasnt in the sale, so that cost me £25.
Bought some new undies with my M&S vouchers.
Didnt get grumpy and didnt fall out with any one

Good bargains and no grumpiness. Well done you.

Were the mugs the ones with the sort of cartoony type cats?
