Thanks everyone.We've just dropped her off and saw the senior vet.In his opinion things don't look good.He says theres no chance its a hairball and he has advised that she has an xray first to make sure it hasn't spread .If it has he has advised that we let her go Hes going to phone us during surgery to let us know whats going on

I'm very sorry to read that Archer. I hope that something can be done to help your dear cat during surgery otherwise the vet is right - the kindest thing is to just let her slip away.

I suspect this morning's wait is going to be one of the longest hours of your life. My heart goes out to you

So sorry to hear this Archer Whilst the vet didn't sound too positive, I hope against the odds your cat can pull through and make a complete recovery. Thinking of you and your baby, and sending positive healing thoughts.
