It's only lunch time here, drat the time difference! I didn't buy any chocolate so am safe there; will enjoy the ham at dinner tonight.....although if chocolate eggs are at the other market tomorrow I just might buy one...(didn't have any ones I liked at Whole Foods)

I love hot cross buns, but unfortunately at the market they were only available in a six-pack, not individually.....too many! And the freezing compartment is full ......

Re: Easter dinner Turkey or Chocolate - tough call

We had an offer on at our local famous name supermarket - 2 for the price of 1, so HotXbuns on Friday and Saturday.

Snap with the bacon tonight, dandysmom! with roast pots, carrots and broccoli. Early supper tonight and I think I've got some chocolate somewhere to munch whilst watching THE COLOUR OF MAGIC at 6.00 pm and 2nd part tomorrow same time - you watching it, Elaine????

Re: Easter dinner Turkey or Chocolate - tough call

Just been snacking on the boys' choccies - can't have them climbing the walls after all can we OH bought me some lovely perfume . . . Vivienne Westwood's new one all wrapped in pale yellow to make it look like a posh easter egg . . . I was completely surprised and rather delighted by that!

As for dinner, nothing fancy here as we're due a big shop tomorrow so making do with home made spaghetti bolognaise with organic meatballs (made up out of bits and peices left in the cupboard)

Elaine - I like the sound of the booze-based lentil soup. Vodka or Scotch is that; which makes the best broth ????
