Can't wait to hear about the puppies. Poor maddy looks huge. how many puppies do you think/know she is going to have. Also how many pups do labradors usually have.

Yes, I have mated her to a black dog that carries chocolate. If he didn't carry choc then all the puppies would be black as black is the dominant gene. Both parents have to either be or carry choc to produce choccie pups

Average litter size for labs is about 8 puppies although Maddie tends to throw bigger litters, her biggest being 11 puppies This is her last litter so a nice black bitch out of her would be very nice
