Re: What's everyone doing New Years eve

I dont really celebrate new year in any big way. As a kid we always had big partys with the family. Over the years the family have dwindled and some moved away. I just tend to see the year in and go to bed.

This year I'm going through to my brother's. To be alone believe it or not. He's coming to Edinburgh for the street party.

He lives in a little seaside village with lovely walks. So that will do me just fine this year.

Have a good one all.

Yola, sounds great. Have a ball.

Me, ditto!

Hope all who are feeling poorly feel better soon.

Have a great time Yola - I missed your earlier thread on this, but have seen it on the TV - an amazing adventure, really hope it works for them.

I'm among the doing-nothing crowd; just the usual evening and watching the ball descend at Times Square at midnight on TV!

Hope all the poorly people are feeling better, and that whatever you're doing, it's going to be a good year for all...Happy New Year!!

I'm with you on this one Jac, oh the parties we had when my grandpa was alive!!!! Now we dont tend to really clebrate, usually sit in my jammies until the bells then off to bed. A little different this year. Hubbies friend from cumbernauld is here so I've bought in nibbles and a few lagers and some wine for me and will celebrate in style lol!!!

Hope all have a wonderful evening whatever the plans

lol, me and the girls will be having white wine and lemonade spritzers. Of course the girls will be more lemonade and a drip of white wine spritzers, but it makes them feel so grown up lol.
