What an inspiring story, Karen! I'm lucky to live in a neighborhood where we look after one another also: neighbors will shovel your snow, bring your wheelie bins back from the alley, rake leaves in the Autumn, etc. Our neighborhood even has its own community newsletter! A great place to live, and great people!

We only moved in to our house in Febuary. The neighbours are nice. We held a "get to know us" bbq a few weeks ago which went down well. They had never had anything like that before (neither had we) but it did break the ice with the one's we hadn't really met.
